1. Payment methods
We accept secure card payment online for the case review and the engagement. We may also issue an invoice where we agree to it in writing.
2. When fees become due
The case review fee is due before review work starts. The engagement fee is due once we accept the case for engagement and before engagement work starts — unless we confirm another arrangement in writing.
3. What happens after payment
Payment confirmation, a receipt, and your case or engagement reference are created right after payment. We then open the relevant stage of work and confirm anything we need from you on documents or timing.
4. Invoicing
Where we use an invoice, the payment instructions, due date, and the relevant stage are all stated on it. Unless it says otherwise, the service does not start until cleared funds are received.
5. Failed or duplicate payments
A failed authorisation does not start the service. Duplicate card charges or clear processing errors are investigated and corrected. The Refund Policy covers actual fee treatment once the relevant stage has begun.
